Vice Chair Amy Glad
Amy Glad is senior vice president for governmental affairs at Pardee Homes, a multi-regional developer that is particularly noted for its new home designs, master-planned communities and civic outreach, and for its steadfast commitment to sustainable building and development practices.
With nearly 30 years of public agency entitlement and real estate development experience, Glad oversees federal and state permitting for Pardee’s master-planned communities in California and Nevada. She also works with the company’s community development teams on environmental permit compliance and on planning and financing major transportation improvements related to larger land development efforts.
Glad joined Pardee Homes in 2001 with a proven background in public policy and land development issues throughout California. Her public sector employment culminated in serving as assistant to the Secretary of Environmental Affairs during the Deukmejian Administration. She practiced land use and environmental law with the firm of Baker & McKenzie, and was employed in positions with local BIAs, including her role as Executive Vice President of the BIA of Southern California.
A member of the California Bar, Glad received her Juris Doctor with Distinction from McGeorge School of Law. She holds a Masters in City and Regional Planning from U.C. Berkeley and a bachelor's degree from Stanford University.
