The California Building Industry Association is a statewide trade association based in Sacramento representing more than 5,000 companies, including homebuilders, trade contractors, architects, engineers, designers, suppliers and other industry professionals.
Earlier this decade, the homebuilding industry contributed more than $60 billion a year to the state's economy and generated 525,000 jobs, but the sharp downturn in housing construction has since cost the state’s economy $27 billion and 300,000 jobs. Each year, CBIA presents PCBC, the largest regional builders' show in the nation.
