Mission
CIBA’s Grassroots Program assists local BIAs and HBAs in organizing and implementing grassroots campaigns. The program helps to develop employee education and mobilization efforts to maximize effectiveness of public affairs and governmental affairs efforts statewide. Program staff provide strategic counsel to local associations and CBIA in developing campaigns that successfully influence decision-makers on state and local public policies affecting the homebuilding industry.

SB 1185 (Lowenthal), a bill to extend expiring subdivision maps is a key part of CBIA's economic recovery package. We need your help in passing this key legislation by writing a letter to your Senator and Assembly Member. The legislature needs to know that companies and their employees need this legislation to be fast tracked and passed as part of the home building economic recovery. DO IT TODAY!!
