Working Together to Make a Difference

Thousands of bills are introduced every year in Sacramento.  Hundreds of those bills seek to change or eliminate the way homebuilders do business in California.  Our staff of lobbyists work hard to fight back these bills and protect the homebuilding industry. These bills deal with such issues as:

  • Planning & land use reform
  • Construction defect resolution and other excessive litigation
  • Affordable housing finance
  • Energy enhancement
  • Prevailing wage laws
  • CEQA reform
  • No growth mentality

We need your help to continue these efforts. Well-funded political action is our greatest asset.

CBIA/PAC has three programs available to members who wish to participate: the Forty-Niner Club, Home Team and Dollar-a-Day Club.  For more information regarding each program, please click on the links below.

Forty-Niner Club

The Forty-Niner Club is a targeted program for larger builders and associate members contributing $5,500 a year to the CBIA-PAC. Members of the Forty-Niner Club receive exclusive benefits and recognition.

Home Team

The Home Team Program is the primary program for members wishing to contribute. For $1,000 you can help CBIA members play a critical role in the future of the homebuilding industry in California.

Dollar-a-Day Club

CBIA/PAC's Dollar-a-Day program is designed to give all other CBIA members an opportunity to participate in the political action process. Dollar-a-Day members contribute $365 annually, and for their contribution receive a Certificate of Appreciation and the electronic updates on what is happening politically in Sacramento.
