Eligible Efficiency Technologies
Lighting, heat pumps, air conditioners, caulking/weather-stripping, duct/air sealing, building insulation, windows, doors, siding, roofs, comprehensive measures/whole building.
Amount
$0.15/KWH measure or rebate (per KW)
Maximum Incentive
- Commercial facility: $200,000 rebates maximum for energy-efficient building systems.
- Residential projects up to $100,000.
- New construction incentives offer up to $400 per KW saved for each measure (lighting, building envelope and mechanical).
- Waive plan-check fees: $50,000/initial submittal review maximum.
- New construction incentives: $200,000/commercial facility maximum.
- Energy Star appliance incentives: $100,000/project maximum.
- Design review assistance: $15,000 maximum.
- LEED certification: $30,000 maximum.
- Green building rater incentives: $6,000 maximum
Equipment Requirements
Anaheim Public Utilities will perform a post-construction inspection to verify that California Title 24 standards are met.

Summary
Anaheim Public Utilities offers commercial, industrial, residential and institutional customers the Green Building and New Construction Incentives Program to offset construction, installation and upgrade costs of energy-efficient equipment.
The first step is to contact APU for a consultation. APU will sit down with the design team and builder, and contribute up to $15,000 for design assistance, with total rebates possible of up to $50,000.
